11 October 2007, 12:33am

ALP Abroad, the international supporters’ wing of Australian Labor has launched three new groups in major cities.

The recently added groups are in New York, Singapore and Shanghai.

“It is great to see the level of interest and willingness of expats around the world to volunteer,” said ALP Abroad president, Paul Smith in London.

The co-ordinators in each city are:

Singapore: Geoff Wade: alpabroad.singapore@gmail.com

Shanghai: Clement Tsang: alpabroad.shanghai@gmail.com

New York: Nevenka Vrdoljak: alpabroad.newyork@gmail.com

If you are living in or near those cities please get in touch with the co-ordinator to find out what the particular group is doing ahead of the next election and what you can do to help.

The groups in New York, Singapore and Shanghai will work with the previously formed groups in London, Paris, Beijing and Toronto to help inform Australians where and how to vote in the coming election.
